What is the CLD Trust?
The CLD Trust is a registered charity established in 1994. Originally set up as a Youth Counselling Trust, it now provides counselling and other talking therapies to children, young people (from the age of 8) and some adults. All our counsellors are fully trained, have up to date enhanced DBS (police record) checks and have wide experience with a wide age-range and the service is accredited with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy. We subscribe to the Ethical Framework for the Counselling Professions and all our practitioners receive case management and professional supervision.
We provide a range of services, such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, counselling, solution focused therapy and Systemic Family Practice. We deliver these services from our Hereford base as well as counselling in schools and some community settings. We also offer services for businesses and training for professionals.
What are Wellbeing Ambassadors?
Our Wellbeing Ambassadors are an important part of the work of the trust. They are clients, former clients and interested young people who we support to come together to give their input into the workings of the trust and the transformation of mental health services in the county as a whole.
